Job Description

You are a Computational Designer with a background in Architecture and/or Interior Design, interested in enhancing creativity, efficiency, and performance in architectural and interior projects through computational design. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing tools to optimize design workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore generative design possibilities. - Collaborating with architects, interior designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate computational methodologies into the design process. - Utilizing parametric modelling tools such as Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo. - Creating automation solutions using programming languages like C# and Python. - Conducting performance analysis to ensure data-driven design decisions. - Developing and maintaining standards within the team, ensuring scalability and efficiency. - Staying informed on emerging technologies in computational design, automation, AI-driven tools, and digital fabrication to enhance design capabilities. Your qualifications and skills should include: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum 5 - 12 years of experience in computational design, architecture, or interior design. - Technical Proficiency in parametric modelling tools like Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo, programming/scripting languages such as C#, Python, and working knowledge of Revit and interoperability between computational tools. - Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, building systems, materials, and construction techniques. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables. It is a plus if you have experience with automation and AI-driven tools for design optimization, knowledge of digital fabrication, material research, or computational geometry, familiarity with collaborative workflows, data visualization, and interoperability between design software, and an understanding of cloud-based computing or scripting for large-scale data processing for design applications. Generating multiple design iterations to evaluate various options and facilitate decision-making processes through computational techniques would also be beneficial. Please note that technical interviews will include Grasshopper/Dynamo (mandatory), Revit & BIM (mandatory), and C#/Python (preferred).,
