Job Role : AR Callers/Senior AR Caller

Work Location : Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

Claim Follow-up:
Call payers (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO) to check the status of submitted hospital claims.
Denial Management:
Investigate, appeal, and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments.
Information Verification:
Confirm patient eligibility, benefits, and insurance coverage details.
Documentation:
Accurately log all collection activities and call outcomes in the billing system.
System Usage:
Work within clearinghouse systems and billing software.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal coding and billing teams to fix errors.

Required Skills & Knowledge

UB-04 Expertise:
Strong understanding of the UB-04 form hospital billing processes.
Payer Knowledge:
Familiarity with different payers (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid) and their websites.
Denial Management:
Proven experience in denial resolution within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain.
Communication:
Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare billing applications.
Compliance:
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Experience Level

Typically requires 1-5 years of experience in AR calling, with mandatory experience in hospital billing (UB-04).
