Job Description

As a Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer at BMC, you will play a crucial role in the Security Engineering team. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, configuring, and supporting application security and identity access management solutions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Cloudflare Web Application Firewall, Web Access Gateway, SailPoint Identity IQ, Okta, and Beyond Identity. Additionally, you will be involved in developing security utilities, tools, and integrations using Python. Your key contributions to BMC's success will involve building custom workflows and connectors for SailPoint IIQ solutions, configuring and generating reports on Identity Governance metrics, ensuring compliance and audit readiness, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective modification and deployment of SailPoint services. You will also be responsible for developing methodologies and best practices for Identity and Access Management solutions, installing, integrating, configuring, and deploying IAM solutions, and identifying integration opportunities between security solutions and automation frameworks. To excel in this role, you should have 7+ years of application development experience with a focus on Identity Management, specifically Sailpoint IIQ development. Experience with public cloud security & governance, CloudFlare technologies, scripting and automation with Python, IAM/SSO/Passwordless authentication technologies like Beyond Identity and Okta SSO, as well as familiarity with Windows, Mac, and Unix platforms, and networking protocols and services are essential.
