Senior Application Developer - Angular/Node JS with Google Cloud Experience

Role Overview: As a Systems Analyst at a Fortune Global 500 organization like UPS, you will be responsible for providing input, support, and performing full systems life cycle management activities. Your role will involve participating in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with teams to support emerging technologies and ensure effective communication for achieving objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Guide and mentor a team of developers in leading the design and development of complex, scalable applications. - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and frameworks like NestJS, often with TypeScript. - Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, and Pub/Sub. - Design and implement microservices-based architectures and manage communication between them. - Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ORMs. - Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using tools like Docker and GitHub Actions. - Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and stakeholders in an Agile environment to define and deliver new features. Qualifications: - Minimum 8+ years of experience. - Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field preferred.
