Senior Android Engineer

As a Senior Android Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of high-quality applications to our users. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the development of features and applications using your expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines. You will set architecture, quality standards, and coding practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for our mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include leading the architecture, design, and development process, making technical decisions regarding frameworks and libraries, and defining best coding practices. Additionally, you will work closely with product management and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. You will mentor and support other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, and drive performance benchmarking and optimization efforts. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience as an Android developer, expert-level knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality apps. You should also possess strong UI implementation skills, familiarity with mobile app accessibility requirements, and excellent communication skills. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Additional capabilities that would be beneficial for this role include a strong understanding of CI/CD process optimization, experience with A/B Testing and Feature Flags, certifications in related fields, and experience with mass customer mobile app products and platforms.
