Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the

  Android platform

• Collaborate with

  to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and

  APIs

• Conduct

  unit testing

  to ensure code robustness, usability, and general reliability.
• Focus on

  bug fixing

  and continuously

  improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Skills

• Solid experience in

  software development

  with a significant portion dedicated to

  Android development

  .
• Proven experience having published at least

  one original Android app

  .
• Strong knowledge of the

  Android SDK

  .
• Experience working with remote data via

  REST and JSON

  .
• Experience with

  third-party libraries and APIs

  .
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the

  full mobile development life cycle

  .

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech

  degree.
• Preference for candidates from premier institutes like

  IIT or NIT

  .
• Candidates from startups or .com companies (e.g., Samsung, Quikr.com, Ola Cabs, Uber, etc.) are preferred.
