Senior Analyst, Trade and Customs

Your job as part of the Trade & Customs team is to ensure compliance with trade laws, regulations, and internal policies for import and export activities. You will be responsible for managing compliance risk, maintaining documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams. Your role will involve working on Country of Origin (CoO) Management, Free Trade Agreement, and Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) under the guidance of Supervisors and Managers. In the Global supply chain, Center of Excellence team in Bangalore, you will join a team of 27 members focused on regulatory operations. The Trade Compliance team collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Your work will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and solutions-driven, aimed at enabling global business operations while minimizing compliance risk. Key Responsibilities: - Perform accurate Country of Origin (COO) determinations based on manufacturing process and supplier data - Apply Rules of Origin (ROO) and Substantial Transformation concepts for evaluating origin status - Interpret and implement Preferential and Non-Preferential Rules of Origin for various countries and trade agreements - Classify materials using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and understand its connection to origin determination - Validate and maintain supplier origin declarations, certificates of origin, and other supporting documentation - Support Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility analysis and maintain compliance records for audit readiness - Assist in internal trade compliance audits and provide necessary data/documentation - Stay updated on global trade regulation changes related to rules of origin and HTS updates Qualifications Required: - Professional Experience of 4-7 years in determining Country of Origin, HTS Classification, and Free Trade Agreements - Contribution motivated mindset aligned with organizational culture - Bachelor's degree in engineering (ECE / EEE preferred) - Open to work in Flexible Shifts Additional Company Details: At Koch companies, employees are encouraged to challenge the status quo and create value.
