Senior Analyst (Technician) Liability Valuation (Actuarial)

As a member of M&G Global Services Private Limited, you will be accountable for providing quality services and products to customers and stakeholders, drawing upon your significant practical experience. You will work within established frameworks and procedures, utilizing your freedom to interpret them in order to solve a range of problems. Your outputs will be clearly defined, and you will have the discretion to determine how best to achieve them. Additionally, you will be expected to make suggestions for improvements to the team's work based on your previous experience and knowledge of similar situations. Key Responsibilities: - Produce and be accountable for understanding and explaining the change in liabilities to key stakeholders with clear controls. - Provide specialist technical advice and guidance on the application of actuarial principles and tools to support business objectives, coaching and guiding less experienced team members. - Produce and be accountable for the discount rate assumptions for non-profit annuities to support the production of actuarial analysis and reports. - Offer technical expertise to design technical solutions as part of change projects within M&G UK Finance Reporting when required. Qualifications Required: - Confidence and excellent communication skills. - Excellent technical actuarial knowledge with attention to detail. - Motivated and willing to take responsibility and ownership of assigned work. - Demonstrable experience in problem-solving and providing practical solutions to complex problems. - Commercial aptitude and the ability to consider the impact of decisions. - Strong commercial and collaboration skills. - Ability to express your viewpoint clearly on complex actuarial issues. Experience: - 1-2 years of relevant Actuarial experience. Educational Qualification: - Studying for and making satisfactory progress with the Institute / Faculty exams as defined in the Mumbai Actuarial Study Support Policy.,
