Job Description

As a Senior Analyst in Legal Compliance focusing on data analysis and reporting, your role will be crucial in enhancing compliance functions through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with compliance teams to develop and maintain key compliance metrics, dashboards, and reports for actionable insights. It is essential that you have a solid analytical background, expertise in data visualization tools, and a comprehensive understanding of compliance-related data requirements. - Develop, maintain, and enhance compliance-related reports, dashboards, and metrics to meet regulatory and internal compliance needs. - Collaborate with compliance teams globally to gather reporting requirements and ensure accurate data representation. - Automate data extraction, transformation, and visualization processes for improved efficiency and accuracy. - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks associated with compliance activities. - Provide ad hoc reporting and data requests support to compliance leadership to facilitate decision-making. - Assist in regulatory reporting by ensuring timely and accurate submission of compliance-related metrics and data. - Work with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection, storage, and retrieval procedures. - Ensure data integrity and quality through data validation and reconciliation checks. - Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in compliance reporting and analytics. - Contribute to process enhancements and technology adoption to boost the analytical capabilities of compliance functions. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in MIS, analytics, or data reporting, preferably in a compliance, risk, or financial services setting. - Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. - Experience in automating reporting processes using scripting languages (Python, VBA, or R) is a plus. - Understanding of compliance, regulatory reporting, and risk management principles. - Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings in a clear and concise manner. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.,
