Senior Analog Hardware Engineer

Role Overview: As an Applications Engineer at Texas Instruments (TI), you will play a crucial role in providing application support for high-speed amplifiers. Your passion and excitement for innovation will drive you to take an active role in product definition, execute characterization until ramp, and offer post-ramp application support to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Answer customer questions and support design-in activities for released products through forums, emails, and on-site visits if required. - Conduct schematic and layout reviews of customer applications and debug customer problems by recreating issues on evaluation boards. - Design Evaluation Modules (EVM) and internal evaluation boards to support correlation and evaluation activities for new products. - Develop user guides, test procedures, and ensure proper release of EVM boards for customer use. - Collaborate with Systems Engineers to review datasheets and ensure completeness. - Perform bench characterization for High-Speed Amplifiers devices, including bench automation, hardware design, and test technique development. - Participate in new silicon testing from an application perspective to ensure product robustness. - Support early design activities for new products by working closely with Systems Engineers. - Create custom reference designs tailored to relevant applications to inspire customer implementation ideas. - Write application notes detailing various use cases, implementations, and flexibility of TI products. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Strong understanding of high-speed amplifiers and analog circuit design. - Experience in schematic and layout review, debugging, and bench characterization. - Proficiency in creating user guides, test procedures, and application notes. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset. - Prior experience in semiconductor industry is preferred.
