Senior Accounts Manager and Finance

Designation: Senior Manager Accounts & Finance

Qualified CA (First or Second or Third Attempt) with 12 - 15yrs of total work experience in Iron & Steel or Automobile manufacturing industry.

NOTE: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HANDLING 1500CR or ABOVE COMPANY TURNOVER.

b) Must have handled a team of at least 10-15 people.

c) Candidate must be fully conversant with Fund Raising and Fund Management.

d) Candidate should be able to lead the team from the front, smart and articulate with good communication and presentation skill.

Role & responsibilities

A.) Corporate Planning & Systems

Involvement in corporate planning including Authorization Level Matrix organizational restructuring at all levels

Involvement in formulation of various systems, internal policies/ procedures from internal control perspective, commensurate with the need of the company

B.) Finance

Able to assess/project working capital requirements in short term .

Preparation and submission of applications to Financial Institutions for financial assistance in form of Term Loans, Short Term Deposits and timely follow up for necessary working capital renewals / new sanctions, documentations and disbursements

C.) Banking and Working Capital

Preparation and appraisal of working capital proposal

Fixing up arrangements of working capital

Bill Discounting and L/C backed Bill discounting at competitive interest rates

Arranging Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantee

Arranging Suppliers' Credit and Buyers' Credit

Liaisoning with Senior Officials of Banks, Financial Institutions, Finance Companies etc.

D.) Accounts & Audit

Finalization of accounts on monthly, quarterly & annual basis as per Time Schedule

Attending statutory auditors, internal auditors to conclude all audits/reports on or before time

Stores/ Materials accounting

Tax audit details preparation

Debtors' management and credit control

Process of Bill Booking, Authorisation including General Ledger

Insurance Portfolio

E.) Taxation

All Direct Tax related activities including Corporate Tax / Transfer Pricing / Personal Taxation / other tax as needed

All indirect Tax including GST/ Customs etc

F.) Closing, Reporting & Digital Transformation

Taking full leadership in monthly closing with close collaboration of other functional heads & finance team members / quarterly reporting to Shareholders

Taking full control on SAP Public Cloud and taking utilisation of the system, initiating possibilities of digital transformation and implementing all possible actions
