Senior Accounts Executive

Position : Sr. Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our finance team. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability.

• Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the company's annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Prepare financial forecasts and long-term financial plans.

• Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

• Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

• System and Process Improvement:

• Evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement new accounting software and tools as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A masters degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (STERP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
