Senior Accountant - Year End Accounting

You are required to have an ACCA Affiliate/membership along with a minimum of 3 years of UK Year-End Accounting experience to be eligible for this role. In this position, your responsibilities will include: - Preparation and review of working papers and financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards (FRS). - Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts. - Ensuring day-to-day delivery of each engagement to maintain quality and meet deadlines. - Compliance with daily submission of timesheets and updating workflow systems. - Communicating with clients, raising queries, and responding to their inquiries. - Assisting colleagues and departments in resolving accounting and budgetary issues. - Managing complete bookkeeping for UK-based clients. - Recording income, expenses, purchases, sales, bank reconciliations, and other financial activities in accounting software. - Generating monthly financial statements such as cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets. - Handling VAT returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Additionally, you should have expertise in the following software: - Proficiency in UK-based accounting Software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Dext, IRIS, Digita, CCH, and TaxCalc. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.,
