We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to financial management.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information and accounting records.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
15-24 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in India.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
