Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will deliver timely and accurate accounting services for our esteemed client ensuring compliance with financial standards and operational efficiency. This role involves managing contracts, incentives, and rebates, performing month-end close processes and supporting SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review executed contracts and manage customers, deals, and incentives in the Contra Revenue System (CRS).
• Perform financial month-end close processes for net revenue, rebate, and incentive payment validation.
• Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Close CRS sub-ledger and Oracle general ledger accurately and on time.
• Analyze close results and prepare manual journal entries.
• Validate rebate and incentive payment requests against contracts and internal systems.
• Provide customer service to global business partners and collaborate on financial systems requirements.
• Execute ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Support SOX compliance and drive process improvements for operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

• CPA/CA with 12 years of experience OR MBA Finance with 35 years of experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong accounting and reconciliation expertise.
• Revenue Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, data handling).
• Ability to interpret contracts.
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• ERP Systems(Oracle Added Advantage)

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills (experience working with offshore teams).
• Team player and quick learner.

Additional Details:

• Exposure to multinational environment and tools like Oracle and SFDC.
• Familiarity with technical accounting standards such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
