Accountant

Position:

Shift:

Key Responsibilities:

Review and manage General Ledger (month-end activities) including bank reconciliation statements, payroll accounting, income journal, sales tax filing, and balance sheet reconciliation for US companies.
Perform reconciliations and prepare monthly financial deliverables for management review.
Supervise and monitor the daily activities of assigned preparers, maintaining an error tracker with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for submission to management.
Identify and resolve unreconciled items in coordination with internal teams and clients.
Communicate regularly with clients via email and calls for issue resolution.
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to clients.
Maintain and update the work allocation matrix and prepare monthly KPI metrics.
Escalate pending issues to higher management when required.
Adhere strictly to information security and control procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Ability to analyze and evaluate data accurately.
Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
