Senior Accountant

Seeking a Dynamic Accountant for a Jewellery brand based in Coimbatore.

Job Responsibilities

? Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.

? Prepare and review monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and profit & loss statements.

? Ensure accurate and timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.

? Maintain and monitor inventory accounting and costing processes, especially related to jewellery stock and production.

? Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits; assist with year-end closing activities.

? Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and ensure proper documentation and ledger entries.

? Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

? Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes.

? Ensure data accuracy in accounting software (Tally/ERP) and support system improvements.

? Liaise with internal departments for financial approvals, reconciliations, and reporting.

? Keep updated with changes in accounting regulations and taxation laws.

Job Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance. (CA Inter or M. Com preferred)

? 38 years of accounting experience, preferably in the jewellery, retail, or luxury product domain.

? Proficient in Tally ERP, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.

? Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation, and compliance.

? High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

? Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

? Good communication and interpersonal skills.
