Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy in journal entries, bank reconciliations, and inter-company accounts.
• Handle statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other returns.
• Support financial audits coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
• Maintain and monitor fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely closing of books of accounts and reporting to management.
• Review vendor and customer reconciliations, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
• Train and guide junior accounting staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
