Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, ledgers, and journal entries.
• Supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure proper cost allocation for projects, SITC jobs, and branch operations.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, and fund-flow projections.

2. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of

  GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax

  returns.
• Liaise with auditors for

  internal, statutory, and tax audits.

• Maintain compliance with

  Companies Act, 2013

  and other relevant regulations.

3. Budgeting & MIS Reporting

• Prepare annual budgets, cost variance analysis, and management reports.
• Present financial summaries and MIS to management for strategic decisions.
• Implement cost control measures across departments.

4. ERP & System Implementation

• Oversee accounting module integration with

  Odoo ERP / Tally Prime / SAP / other systems.

• Develop process documentation and ensure accurate data entry by team members.
• Work with the IT/ERP team to enhance automation and reporting dashboards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification:

  B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.

• Experience:

  Minimum 8 years in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of

  Tally ERP / Odoo / GST / TDS / Excel / Bank reconciliation / MIS.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Exposure to

  HVAC / Construction / Project-based accounting

  will be an advantage.
