Senior 3D Printing Engineer

As a Senior 3D Printing Engineer based in Mumbai with over 5 years of experience in 3D printing and additive manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our 3D printing department. Your deep expertise in various 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLA, SLS, and more will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs including architectural models, prototypes, and production components. This role will require you to handle machine maintenance, material selection, process optimization, and provide leadership to the team. Your responsibilities will include managing the 3D printing workflow from design preparation to final output, selecting appropriate materials and technologies based on project requirements, calibrating and maintaining 3D printers, optimizing print quality and efficiency, and leading and guiding junior engineers and technicians in best 3D printing practices. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field along with 5+ years of experience in professional 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Your expertise in various 3D printing technologies, proficiency in 3D modeling and slicing software, strong knowledge of materials and their applications, hands-on experience in troubleshooting 3D printers, and understanding of structural integrity and mechanical properties of printed parts will be highly valued.
