Job Description

As a Concept Artist at our company, you will be responsible for creating concepts, environments, backgrounds, and gameplay objects. Your strong portfolio showcasing digital painting and illustration skills for game assets, backgrounds, and concepts will be essential. With at least 8+ years of experience in Mobile or video game development studios, you are expected to have a solid understanding of composition, color, lighting, perspective, UX, and UI. Proficiency in Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator is a must, along with familiarity with Unity3D's pipeline for asset integration. Your proven aesthetic eye, attention to detail, and strong design sensibilities will be crucial for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with art, code, and design teams to create concepts, digital game assets, environments, gameplay objects, and promotional imagery. - Help establish or refine an art style to maintain visual consistency. - Create or refine 2D artwork pipelines for ongoing content updates. - Continually seek opportunities to enhance visual quality and gameplay experience, collaborating with the wider team as needed. - Drive the creation of marketing materials to convey the artistic vision to stakeholders. - Provide accurate time estimates for tasks and meet production deadlines. - Guide and educate others in digital art techniques. **Qualifications Required:** - BA degree in art media, graphic design, or equivalent relevant experience. - Strong portfolio demonstrating refined digital painting and illustration skills for game assets, backgrounds, UI, and concepts. - Minimum 8+ years of experience in Mobile or video game development studios. - Ability to adapt style and technique to suit mobile game development requirements. - Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, perspective, UX, and UI. - Effective team player with the ability to work within technical parameters. - Passion for the game industry, knowledge of market trends, and styles. - Capable of working under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficient in Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator. - Experience in managing, supporting, and mentoring fellow artists. **Bonus Experience:** - Understanding of Unity3D's pipeline for assets integration. - 3D modeling skills in 3D Max, Maya, or equivalent. - Ability to animate game objects or create visual effects using Spine.,
