Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled
Selenium Test Engineer
with 4 to 6 years of experience in
automated testing
of web applications using
Selenium WebDriver
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, developing automation scripts, executing test plans, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using
Selenium WebDriver
with Java/Python/C#.
Analyze user stories and requirements to develop comprehensive
test plans
and
test cases
.
Perform
functional
,
regression
, and
integration
testing across web applications.
Maintain and enhance the automation framework for scalability and reusability.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.
Log and track bugs using tools like
JIRA
, and ensure timely resolution.
Perform
cross-browser
and
platform compatibility
testing.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.
Prepare test data and perform backend validations using SQL queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4 to 6 years of experience in
automation testing using Selenium WebDriver
.
Proficient in programming languages such as
Java
,
Python
, or
C#
.
Experience with
TestNG
,
JUnit
, or
Cucumber
(for BDD).
Solid understanding of
software testing lifecycle
,
Agile/Scrum
, and
QA methodologies
.
Hands-on experience with test management tools like
JIRA
,
Zephyr
, or
qTest
.
Experience in
CI/CD integration
using
Jenkins
,
Git
, or
Azure DevOps
.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Knowledge of
REST API testing
using tools like
Postman
or
RestAssured
.
Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience with
performance testing tools
like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Exposure to
cloud-based test platforms
like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
Basic knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
