About the Role:

Selenium Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

  Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, or BDD using Cucumber).
  
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

2. Test Planning & Execution

• Review requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to create test plans and test cases.

3. Defect Management

• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like

  Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail

  .
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
  
• Retest defect fixes to ensure proper resolution.
  

4. Framework Development & Maintenance

• Continuously enhance and optimize automation frameworks for better efficiency and maintainability.
  
• Create reusable, modular, and scalable automation scripts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• 2–6 years of experience in automation testing using

  Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Strong programming skills in

  Java, Python, C#, or similar languages

  .
• Experience with

  BDD frameworks

  such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or JBehave.
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD tools

  : Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
