Security Testing

As a Security Test Engineer in Chennai with 5-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for conducting authorized penetration tests on computer systems to identify security vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious actors. Your role may involve specializing in manipulating specific types of systems such as network and infrastructures, Windows, Linux, Mac operating systems, web/mobile applications, APIs, and web services. It is crucial to consider the potential impact of security breaches on the business and its users. A strong understanding of cyber security, forensic computing, network management, and computer systems engineering is essential for this role. Applicants should possess in-depth knowledge of computer operating systems, even if their degree is in an unrelated field. Professional certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), or vendor-specific certifications like Microsoft (MCP, MCSE) or Cisco (CCNA Security) would be advantageous.
