Security Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a competent and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the security team and ensure the safety of our premises, personnel, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, leadership skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security guards. Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures. Conduct routine patrols and inspections to ensure all areas are secure. Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) and respond to alerts. Assign duties and shifts to security personnel and maintain attendance records. Train new security staff and provide ongoing coaching on procedures and emergency response. Investigate incidents, write reports, and recommend corrective actions. Act as the point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with management and law enforcement as needed. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards. Maintain inventory of security equipment and ensure functionality. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or security training is a plus. Valid security license (as required by local regulations). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and take control during stressful situations. Proficient in using security technologies and basic computer systems (email, reports, scheduling). Working Conditions: Indoor and outdoor work environments. May involve standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods. Flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays.
