Security Supervisor

Job Description: Security Supervisor Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of security guards to ensure the safety and security of premises. Monitor and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel, ensuring they follow standard operating procedures. Conduct training sessions for new and existing security staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures. Perform regular inspections of security staff to ensure adherence to security policies and proper conduct. Handle security breaches or emergency situations and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary. Ensure that all security equipment is functional and properly maintained. Review and assess security reports and logs for incidents, suspicious activities, and other safety concerns. Provide guidance and support to security guards on how to handle difficult situations or confrontations. Prepare and submit reports on security operations, incidents, and any other relevant information. Collaborate with management to develop security strategies and improve safety protocols. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or security management certifications preferred. Previous experience in security, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Strong decision-making ability and problem-solving skills. Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Knowledge of security systems and surveillance technology. Ability to train and mentor junior security staff. Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
