Security Specialist - SOC Operations and Cyber Forensics

As a skilled professional in cybersecurity, you will be responsible for various key tasks related to monitoring and enhancing the security of the bank's information systems. Your primary focus will be on implementing continuous monitoring measures to swiftly detect and respond to any security incidents that may arise. Additionally, you will leverage threat intelligence resources to stay abreast of the latest emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape. Your role will also involve hands-on experience with configuring and managing Security Operations Center (SOC) solutions such as Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and Threat Intelligence platforms. You will be tasked with assessing cyber threats and optimizing SOC/SIEM/XDR alerts and use cases to ensure maximum efficiency. Furthermore, you will conduct regular reviews of integrated systems and alert rules to guarantee their effectiveness. It will be your responsibility to administer the SIEM platform, ensuring its performance is consistently optimized. Your expertise will be crucial in performing Level 3 SOC monitoring, developing playbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SOC operations, and fine-tuning alert remediation automation processes.
