Job Description

Security Master reporter

Maintain and update the
Security Master database
with accurate reference data for equities, fixed income, derivatives, and other instruments.
Perform daily checks to ensure data integrity across multiple sources (Bloomberg, Reuters, internal systems).
Generate and distribute
daily/weekly/monthly reports
on security master data for stakeholders (trading, risk, compliance, operations).
Reconcile discrepancies between internal records and external vendors, escalating issues as needed.
Support onboarding of new securities and corporate actions processing.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance reporting automation and data quality controls.
Assist in audits and regulatory reporting by providing accurate security reference data.
Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in
security master and financial data reporting
.
Strong understanding of financial instruments (fixed income and credits in particular).
Hands-on experience with market data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, FactSet).
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros); SQL or Python knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
