Security Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintains utmost confidentiality and discretion
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
• Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Conducts regular security inspections
• Writes comprehensive security reports
• Review reports on incidents and breaches
• Investigate and resolve issues
• Create reports for management on security status
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
• Leads company emergency response trainings
• Ensures that the team follows security and privacy laws and standards

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as security manager or similar position
• Manages a team and has advanced leadership skills
• Remains calm in fast-paced and stressful situations
• Demonstrates attention to detail and is diligent
• Works well independently and has strong project management skills
• Communicates well and has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Committed and reliable

Preferred skills and qualifications

• A UG or equivalent is required
• A bachelors degree in security management or a related major is preferred.
• Retired person from Military or Protection Service is preferred
• Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
• Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies.
• Familiarity with cyber security principles and best practices.
• Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management.
