Roles & Responsibilities Maintains utmost confidentiality and discretion Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms Conducts regular security inspections Writes comprehensive security reports Review reports on incidents and breaches Investigate and resolve issues Create reports for management on security status Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology) Leads company emergency response trainings Ensures that the team follows security and privacy laws and standards Requirements and skills Proven experience as security manager or similar position Manages a team and has advanced leadership skills Remains calm in fast-paced and stressful situations Demonstrates attention to detail and is diligent Works well independently and has strong project management skills Communicates well and has excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV) Experience in reporting and emergency response planning Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures Working knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Committed and reliable Preferred skills and qualifications A UG or equivalent is required A bachelors degree in security management or a related major is preferred. Retired person from Military or Protection Service is preferred Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management. Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies. Familiarity with cyber security principles and best practices. Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management.
