Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to prevent theft or damage.
• Utilise CCTV systems to observe and record activities within the premises.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Skills

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and law enforcement if required.
