Overview
The Warden plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of a correctional facility, ensuring the safety and security of both staff and inmates. The Warden will be responsible for maintaining order within the facility while adhering to legal standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all facility operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Lead a team of correctional officers and support staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Oversee inmate programs, including rehabilitation and educational initiatives.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, inmate behavior, and operational efficiency.
• Implement surveillance measures to monitor activities within the facility.
• Handle animal control situations when necessary, ensuring humane treatment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on criminal investigations as required.
• Ensure that all staff are trained in CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures.

Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in law enforcement or corrections management. Preferred qualifications include:

• Proven leadership experience in a correctional or law enforcement setting.
• Proficiency in report writing and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with immigration law and its implications within the correctional system.
• Experience in animal handling is advantageous for facilities that require such oversight.
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and criminal investigation processes.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is essential for ensuring the safety of all individuals within the facility.
