Security Guard

As a Hotel Security Guard, your role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, staff, and property. Your professionalism, excellent judgment, and strong observational skills will be essential in fulfilling your responsibilities which include: - Patrol all areas of the hotel to deter and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of doors, windows, and gates. - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to promptly respond to alarms, emergency calls, and suspicious activities. - Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when necessary. - Record daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, and unauthorized persons. - Enforce hotel policies and procedures in a calm and professional manner. - Provide courteous assistance to guests and employees by offering directions or non-emergency support. To excel in this role, you are required to have: - Proven experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. - High School Diploma; a security training certification is a plus. - Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures. - Ability to handle challenging situations and remain calm under pressure. - Strong verbal communication skills. - Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights.
