Job Vacancy: Security Guard (Defence / Military Office)Location: Hastings, Kolkata Duty Hours: 8 Hours per day, 26 Days per month Vacancies: 35 Security Guards Key Requirements : Must be trained & experienced in high-security, protocol-driven environments (defence / military / sensitive offices). Highly alert, disciplined & physically fit; capable of standing continuously for 8 hours with strict adherence to security protocols at every hour. PSARA License, or equivalent private guard license; First Aid / Emergency Response / Fire Safety training certificate highly preferred. Excellent communication & observation skills; ability to follow orders, maintain logs, and work under supervision without supervision break. Primary Duties & Responsibilities : Control access to site: check IDs, verify authorisations for personnel, visitors & vehicles. Patrol the premises regularly; monitor surveillance systems; maintain vigilance at all checkpoints. Enforce strict protocol: uniform, grooming, punctuality, weapon if authorised, pass rules, gate passes etc. Promptly report any suspicious activity, security violation or emergency; follow chain of command. Prepare handover & shift reports; maintain attendance, incident, log books as per SOP. Education, Experience & Other Criteria: Minimum Education: 10th / 12th pass (higher preferred) Experience: 2-5+ years in security guard role, especially in defence / high-security facilities. Ex-servicemen preferred. Age: 21-50 years (or as per physical eligibility) Must be medically fit with good eyesight and endurance.
