Job Description: As a Security Officer at Akasa Air, your role involves clearing security trainings and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will be customer-focused and expected to work in various security-related areas. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain standards as per Company requirements. - Ensure effective threat assessment and response capability. - Achieve department goals and follow up accordingly. - Perform duties in alignment with the Security Programme. - Maintain performance standards and follow up with your shift. - Continuously monitor the Quality System and ensure conformance. - Secure quality levels. - Be aware of Emergency Response Procedures, rules, and regulations. - Acquire and maintain necessary skills required for job functions. - Control theft and pilferage of company property. Administrative Responsibilities: - Maintain files and log sheets. - Provide inputs for training requirements. - Update manuals and local procedures. - Ensure a competent and qualified workforce is detailed for duty. - Verify Invoices. Required Skills And Experience: Functional: - Proficiency in day-to-day security functions at the airport. - Strong communication skills. - Customer-focused. Behavioral / Leadership: - Ability to work well with team members. - Ability to follow instructions of seniors and abide by security guidelines. Good To Have: - Knowledge of MS Office. - AVSEC and Screener certification. Educational Qualifications: - Graduation degree required.
