Security Consultant II (Web Application Penetration Tester)

Role Overview: As a Security Consultant II at NetSPI, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing expert recommendations to enhance clients" security posture. Your main focus will be on performing Web Application Penetration Testing and contributing to the development of security best practices. You will collaborate with clients to create remediation strategies and deliver clear, actionable reports to help improve their security posture. Key Responsibilities: - Perform web and mobile application penetration tests - Create and deliver penetration test reports to clients - Collaborate with clients to create remediation strategies - Research and develop innovative techniques, tools, and methodologies for penetration testing services - Define and document internal, technical, and service processes and procedures - Contribute to the community through the development of tools, presentations, white papers, and blogs Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or IT, or equivalent experience - 2-4 years of experience in Application Security and/or Penetration Testing - Familiarity with offensive and defensive IT concepts - Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration Additional Details: NetSPI, a pioneer in Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS), combines world-class security professionals with AI and automation to deliver clarity, speed, and scale across various pentest types.
