Secondary English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for secondary grades (610).
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and literature analysis.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and activities that promote language proficiency and critical thinking.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Prepare students for internal and board examinations.
• Incorporate audio-visual aids and interactive methods to enhance classroom learning.
• Create a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other academic activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators for curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English / Literature / Education or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience at the secondary level (preferably in a CBSE school).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital tools and smart classroom teaching.
• Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns and NEP guidelines.
• Creative approach to teaching literature and writing.

Working Days & Timings:

Monday to Saturday (Weekly off as per school policy)
