SDWAN Network Engineer L2

As an L2 Network Engineer at Microscan Communications Pvt Ltd in Pune, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the network infrastructure of our clients. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems and providing technical support to resolve any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Networking and Firewall technologies, including CCNP certification, as well as experience with SDWAN, Cisco ISE, DNAC, SDA, Firewall (Fortinet, Palo-Alto) and other network security solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure for clients to ensure high availability and performance. You will perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems, configure and maintain Cisco switches and routers, manage network security solutions including Fortinet firewalls, troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and utilize Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Digital Network Architecture (DNA) to optimize network operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures, providing technical guidance to junior team members, and staying updated on the latest networking technologies and trends are also crucial aspects of this role. Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, CCNP certification or equivalent experience in Cisco networking, NSE4 and NSE5 certifications in Fortinet technologies, proficiency in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), expertise in Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Digital Network Architecture (DNA), strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to continuous learning. Preferred qualifications include CCNP certification, experience with Cisco Digital Network Architecture Center (DNAC) for network automation and orchestration, familiarity with other network security solutions like Palo Alto Networks or Check Point, and knowledge of cloud networking technologies such as AWS or Azure.
