Job Description

Your responsibilities: • Defining & implementing QA Strategy, approach that aligns with agile software development methodology • Demonstrate continuous improvement of quality across all the products and be accountable for the overall quality of all the releases • Focus on continuous improvements including the usage of testing tools, testing techniques and test automation • Monitor all the QA activities, test results, defect leakages across all the product releases. Identify the areas of improvements and improvement plan. • Collaborate with various functions, drive the quality engineering initiatives across the organization • Manage QA team members and provide leadership to them • Manage the learning path of QA team members • Provide technical expertise in testing methodologies, process, tools & techniques • Demonstrated experience in automation strategy, planning, executing and automation framework design, implementation • Participate in interview and selection process in identifying suitable candidates • Gather & share the quality metrics Educational Qualifications: • Bachelors or Master's Degree in CS / IT QA Manager Job Description What are we looking for: • 10 -12 years overall experience with 2+ years of managing QA team of 7 - 10 members working across multiple product development pods • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with leaders and peers across various functions within the organization • Ability to motivate, recognize and bring the best out of each person in the team • Experience working closely with development and business teams • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and understanding of sprint ceremonies • Familiarity with and/or accreditation in AWS or similar cloud technologies, Apache Kafka, WebHooks • Have strong technical skills in both functional and non-functional, manual and automation • Great understanding of Micro services, RESTful architecture • Hands on experience in API, Web and Mobile application functional and automation testing • Experience in automating API, Web, Mobile applications using the industry standard automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, RestAssured, Karate, • Cucumber using Java. • Experience in databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL and very good in SQL queries • Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends and proactively solve problems • Experience using tools like Zephyr, Xray, TestRail for test case management (TCM), • JIRA for project management & issues tracking, Confluence for knowledge sharing & collaboration and IDEs like IntelliJ, Eclipse • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins Professional traits: Experience designing & executing load / performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatlin Understanding security testing concepts and having familiarity over tools like Zap Proxy, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nexpose, Appscan. Good understanding and experience on ERP applications and testing like MS Dynamics 365.
