SDET with Java/C, PlayWright

As an SDET at our company based in Mohali / Panchkula (WFO), your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications to ensure high quality and comprehensive test coverage. - Collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and team members to seamlessly integrate testing throughout the software development lifecycle. - Identifying and troubleshooting automation issues within a CI/CD environment to ensure smooth functioning. - Creating and updating test documentation, comprising test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Contributing to the enhancement of test automation practices and actively participating in shaping the overall quality strategy. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in the QA field. - Extensive background in writing automated tests for a minimum of 5 years. - Proficiency in programming languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C# with at least 1 year of experience in automation scripts using Playwright. - Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. - Ability to work with databases, including SQL and PostgreSQL. - Proven track record of effectively resolving automation issues in a CI/CD pipeline. - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous: - Familiarity with AWS services. - Knowledge of React or other front-end technologies. - Understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
