Job Description

Role Overview: UST is seeking a Lead I - Software Testing to join their team. As an SDET, you will utilize your expertise in analyzing issues, proposing solutions, and problem-solving. Your role will involve hands-on experience with GIT, Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, CICD tools such as looper and concord, and mentoring team members. The opportunity at UST offers a platform to work on complex APIs, automation, eCommerce websites, and test automation, enhancing your skills in quality engineering and testing web-based applications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and automate highly distributed, complex APIs, automation, eCommerce websites, and test automation - Explore tools and technologies to identify the best fit for project requirements and develop proof of concept - Build automation frameworks and assist other SDETs in writing tests using the framework - Design and develop automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of cloud services - Develop Backend automation suites for complex API using Java, Junit & TestNg - Proficient in SQL/DB for developing automated tests - Utilize Performance testing tools such as Apache Jmeter, Load runner, Selenium, Cucumber BDD framework - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, dedication, motivation, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams - Create complex automation frameworks with new technologies available Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in working with GIT and Continuous Integration tools - Expertise in developing/automating APIs, automation, and eCommerce websites - Proficiency in quality engineering and testing web-based applications - Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and problem-solve effectively - Experience in building automation frameworks and mentoring team members - Strong background in Java, Junit & TestNg for Backend automation suites - Knowledge of SQL/DB for developing automated tests - Familiarity with Performance testing tools like Apache Jmeter, Load runner, Selenium, Cucumber BDD framework - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Additional Company Details (if present): UST believes in embracing values such as humility, humanity, and integrity.
