Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Key Responsibilities

• UI automation frameworks

• React.js

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies.

• E2E testing

• Review PRs, debug UI issues, and suggest improvements for frontend code quality.

• Implement CI/CD-based automation pipelines using GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI.

• Ensure high-quality releases by integrating automation tests into deployment workflows.

• Continuously optimize test execution speed, reliability, and overall automation coverage.

Must-Have Skills

• React.js:

• TypeScript:

• Playwright:

• Strong experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

• Good understanding of UI architecture, web performance, and cross-browser behavior.

• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.

• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Selenium.

• API automation knowledge (Postman / REST Assured).

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Ability to mentor junior QA/SDET team members.
