As a Procurement Manager specializing in Civil, Interior, and MEP projects, you will be responsible for developing cost-effective strategies for planning, budgeting, purchasing, and scheduling project requirements. Your key duties will involve reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for interior fit-out projects, evaluating purchase orders, bills, and vendor contracts, and overseeing the procurement of interior materials such as wooden items, paints, tiles, ceilings, electricals, MEP, hardware, etc. You will play a vital role in evaluating and benchmarking costs for interior materials sourced across India. Collaborating with cross-functional departments will be essential to ensure efficient procurement execution. Guiding and supporting procurement team members through process changes and updates will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be expected to develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to establish a centralized procurement program. Leading vendor and contractor management nationwide, including the onboarding of new contractors for fit-out projects, will be crucial in this role. Maintaining detailed reports on purchases and project costs related to procurement will be necessary for tracking and analysis purposes. Creating an ecosystem for cost benchmarking and implementing zero-based costing practices will be a continuous effort to optimize procurement processes. Your role will also involve processing purchase orders, managing bids/proposals, and resolving invoice discrepancies. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical discipline, along with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Civil, Interior, and MEP procurement. A proven track record in handling procurement for interior fit-outs in Retail, Hospitality, and Commercial projects nationwide is required. Deep understanding of material specifications and subcontractors related to interior fit-outs, strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and a solution-oriented approach are essential attributes for success in this role. The ability to work independently under tight timelines without compromising quality or client satisfaction is crucial. Prior experience working from the vendor side is mandatory for this position.,
