SDET - Automation

As an experienced SDET with expertise in Java, Selenium, REST API automation, mobile testing, and performance testing, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic team at TechAhead. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Test Automation Development:** You will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and REST Assured for web and mobile applications. - **API Testing:** Implement and execute comprehensive API test suites using REST Assured and Postman to ensure seamless integration and functionality. - **Mobile Application Testing:** Conduct automated and manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms using Appium and BrowserStack. - **Performance Testing:** Utilize tools like JMeter to perform performance testing, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks. - **Framework Development:** Build and enhance automation frameworks based on BDD (Cucumber) and TDD principles to ensure scalability and maintainability. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure quality deliverables. - **Continuous Integration:** Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Git to facilitate efficient and consistent testing processes. **Required Skills & Experience:** - **Programming Languages:** Proficiency in Java with a strong understanding of OOP concepts. - **Automation Tools:** Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, REST Assured, and Postman. - **Testing Frameworks:** Expertise in BDD (Cucumber) and TDD methodologies, with experience in TestNG and JUnit. - **Mobile Testing:** Practical experience in automating and manual testing of mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. - **Performance Testing:** Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter to assess application scalability and performance. - **Backend & Frontend Development:** Experience in both backend and frontend development, with a solid understanding of APIs and databases. - **Version Control & CI/CD:** Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven). - **Agile Methodologies:** Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - **Communication Skills:** Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
