As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable, resilient, and secure backend services using Java, Springboot, Spring framework, and Microservices architecture. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing containerized applications using Kubernetes for orchestration and management. - Developing, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS Cloud to ensure high availability and reliability. - Conducting performance analysis and optimization to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness. - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, UX/UI, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Partnering with DevOps teams to operationalize product deliveries. - Managing diverse requirements, negotiating, and effectively articulating rationale and vision behind technical decisions supporting the business. - Conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and enforcing coding standards and best practices. - Participating in architectural design discussions and proposing solutions to complex technical challenges. - Troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing timely solutions. - Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them for product and process improvement. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience (5+ years) as a Software Development Engineer with expertise in Java, Microservices, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, and Performance Tuning. - Experience in decoupled architecture development using middleware (e.g., Kafka). - Exposure to relational and non-relational DBs (e.g., Cassandra, Elastic, MongoDB, etc.). - Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices. - Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. - Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC). - Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in distributed systems. - Excellent communication, analytical skills, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Prior experience in E-commerce or Retail domain is a plus.
