Description
As a Senior Front-end Software Engineer at AurigaIT, you will play a crucial role within the engineering team by providing technical expertise, strategic problem-solving, and advanced mentorship. You will independently navigate highly complex learning objectives, critically evaluate and advise on project technologies, and take the lead on medium to large-scale software projects. Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a strong grasp on project estimation and risk management are essential for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement high-quality, test-driven frontend code for client projects using TypeScript, Next.js, and React. - Optimize applications for Core Web Vitals to ensure high performance and superior user experience. - Collaborate with designers and UX teams to create seamless, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces. - Implement components accurately based on specified figma designs or wireframes. - Define and maintain scalable component architecture using Storybook, Tailwind CSS, or similar libraries. - Implement client-side state management solutions, particularly React Query. - Work closely with backend teams to optimize REST API integrations for efficient data fetching and caching strategies. - Create and maintain documentation, follow best practices for development workflow, and meet project deadlines. - Contribute innovative ideas to deliver the best solutions for clients and stay updated on technology trends to enhance your skill set. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal communication). - Experience working with remote teams in North America and LATAM for smooth collaboration across time zones. - Deep expertise in TypeScript, Next.js (14+), and React (18+). - Understanding of a11y and WCAG principles. - Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and modern CSS methodologies. - Experience with API consumption patterns like REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets. - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including code-splitting, lazy loading, and image optimization. - Familiarity with headless CMS platforms, specifically Contentful. - Understanding of containerization technologies for development environments. - Knowledge of Google Cloud Run as a web application runtime environment. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments (GitHub Actions preferred). - Understanding of front-end security best practices, including CSP, OWASP Top 10, and secure authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT). - Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working in fast-paced, Agile environments and balancing priorities across multiple projects. **Nice to Have:** - Experience with headless ecommerce platforms like Commercetools. - Back-end engineering experience, notably in NestJs. - Experience with GCP, terraform, Edge computing, and serverless deployments (Cloudflare Workers, Vercel). - Knowledge of micro frontends, federated architectures, PWAs, service workers, internationalization, and localization strategies. - Familiarity with A/B testing and personalization tools like Ninetailed and Segment.,
