Description
You will be joining the Ola Maps Routing team as a skilled and motivated Backend Developer. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend services using Java and Golang. You will build and optimize distributed systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop APIs and microservices architecture, and solve challenging technical problems leveraging your strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge routing algorithms and systems for maps and navigation, implement and manage messaging systems like Kafka, and utilize modern tools and frameworks like Spark to process and analyze large datasets efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of professional experience in backend development. Strong programming skills in Java and Golang, proficiency in designing and developing APIs and microservices, in-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques, as well as experience working with CI/CD pipelines are essential. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, software engineering best practices, performance optimization, and system scalability is also required. Experience in Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies, exposure to maps, navigation systems, or routing engines, and excellent communication and collaboration skills will be advantageous for this role.,
