Scrum Master I

As a Scrum Master at UST, your role will involve partnering with up to two business and technology teams to plan and execute tactical and strategic efforts in alignment with the business vision. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring team coordination by supporting teams to operate according to agreed team cadence, reflect on learnings, and improve Agile practices - Coordinating dependencies to facilitate smooth collaboration among extended team members and enable clear visualization of dependency blockers - Tracking and managing team Visual Management Boards to maintain team data and collateral relevant to changing business needs - Providing mentoring support to Product Owners and team members to refine their understanding of Agile practices - Supporting Product Owners in engaging, informing, influencing, and negotiating with stakeholders using prioritized product backlogs - Working with the Agile coach to ensure alignment with Agile values and principles Measures of outcomes for your performance will include: - Increase in Agile maturity - Achievement in OKRs or KPIs - Contributions to Scrum Master guilds for improving Agile adoption As a Change Agent, you will be expected to: - Facilitate team events to drive Agile practices such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives - Conduct regular check-ins with team members to provide performance feedback and coaching - Create and maintain team metrics to monitor performance - Coach the team, product owner, and business stakeholders on Agile practices and processes - Provide training on Agile concepts, practices, and frameworks as required - Utilize collaboration tools to stimulate transparency and collaboration Some of the skills expected from you include: - Understanding business requirements and interacting with subject matter experts - Identifying improvements in release management processes - Demonstrating conflict resolution skills - Exhibiting sound judgment under pressure - Acting as a true Servant leader Your knowledge should cover: - Various patterns and techniques for filling gaps in the Scrum approach - Fundamentals of software development processes - Incremental delivery and the benefit of metrics - Common Agile practices and better development practices About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with clients from design to operation, embedding innovation and agility into organizations.
