Scrum Master - Cloud

As a Scrum Master at Eaton's Brightlayer Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of internal Design System releases and facilitating agile processes within the Brightlayer Cloud Team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the scrum teams in a rapidly growing area of the business. You will be instrumental in driving Continuous Improvement activities to enhance collaboration, communication, and efficiency while reducing operational waste. Additionally, you will coach the team on Agile Principles, ensure accountability, and facilitate all scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Sprint Retrospectives. In this hands-on position, you will work closely with the Product Owner to assist with various project administrative functions and support multiple product teams, design adopters, and contractors. As a Scrum Master, you will contribute to creating a positive, productive, fun, and inclusive team environment. By identifying purposeful metrics and measuring team progress, you will keep the team focused on deliverables by collaborating with the team manager to remove impediments. Furthermore, you will assist the team as a junior designer through different aspects of the design process, including user research, sketching, storyboarding, and prototyping. Collaboration with other designers and developers to guide the product from inception through delivery will also be a key aspect of your role. The ideal candidate for this position is composed in stressful situations, flexible to change, and a proficient facilitator who can build collaborative teams. You should possess strong interpersonal skills, be an active listener, open-minded, and objective. Building trust and partnerships with all stakeholders is crucial, along with effective communication skills. Familiarity with web and mobile technologies and their impacts on the feasibility of design solutions is essential. The ability to understand complex customer needs and distill them into clean, understandable solutions is also required. To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of 10+ years of development experience. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment and 7+ years of experience with a Digital team. A Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM I) is a must-have qualification for this position.,
