Scrum Master

Role & responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Managers/Owners to refine roadmaps, clarify outcomes, and translate strategy/OKRs into sprint goals and release plans.
• Drive product discovery flow (hypotheses, small bets, fast feedback) and ensure teams work in outcome-first, experiment-driven ways.
• Remove impediments and streamline cross-team dependencies.
• Maintain transparency with Agile metrics/dashboards (Jira/Confluence) and product health signals (cycle time, throughput, defect rates).
• Coach engineers, designers, and PMs on Agile/product thinking and continuous improvement. • Contribute to scaling Agile practices and mentoring junior Scrum Masters.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master in product-centric Agile environments (SaaS or platform products).
• Deep knowledge of Scrum/Kanban and team-level scaling patterns.
• Proven collaboration with Product on prioritization, outcomes, and release planning.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Hands-on with Jira/Confluence (or similar) and data-informed delivery practices.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup with evolving priorities.

Preferred candidate profile

• AI/Voice/Real-time communications exposure; experience shipping AI-driven products is a plus.
• Product background: prior work in a product company, close partnership with PMs, familiarity with discovery delivery, road mapping, OKRs, and experiment design.
• Certifications: CSM, PSM I/II (or equivalent).
• Experience with SAFe/LeSS/Nexus, and understanding DevOps/CI-CD practices.
• Bonus: software engineering or cloud/SaaS platform experience.
